The MAXICASTER MX200 is a modular, end-to-end IPTV and onboard video entertainment solution purpose-built for the maritime industry. Designed around a flexible service model, it allows operators to launch with only the services they need today, while retaining the freedom to activate additional modules at any point during the contract period.

All service modules are housed within a single onboard server, enabling the solution to scale seamlessly from the smallest commercial vessels to the largest ocean liners. Delivered as a managed service, MX200 minimizes onboard workload while ensuring a reliable, high-quality entertainment experience for passengers and crew.

Supporting all Onboard Screens

MX200 supports all onboard screen types, giving operators full control over where and how services are delivered. In-cabin TVs, theatres, public displays, and personal mobile devices can each be assigned tailored services, with the ability to segment content by screen type, passenger category, or crew.

The result is a future-ready IPTV solution that adapts to changing operational, commercial, and passenger expectations—without the need for complex upgrades or system replacement.

Service Modules

Operators can select from the following “Onboard Entertainment as a Service” modules.

Live TV: streaming of Live TV, oSline TV channels or streaming from onboard cameras at an optimal quality. Includes Catch-up & advanced recording
Playout Channels: create, schedule & manage operators-own channels which can incorporate Live TV, VoD or onboard streaming using simple drag-&-drop
VoD: advanced VoD library service with full genre & series capabilities
InfoTV: Intuitive Digital Signage solution at a single device or group level
Ship Tracker – granular route tracking throughout a journey
