FAQ

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?

As a Service Provider of video services in our home market we understand the challenges associated with both running a video business and more importantly making it a success. We understand the aspects which keep you up and night and have addressed them directly…

HOW DO I MANAGE THE OPERATIONS?

We handle this for you. Our Global Operations Centre (GoC) is specifically designed to handle the day-to-day operations. So whether it is on-boarding new content providers, managing the EPG or handling new device requirements….we have you covered.

HOW DO I MAKE MONEY?

There are numerous ways of monetising a video service depending on your local market and requirements. Whether it is additional subscription revenue through multiscreen, uncovering hidden VoD titles through our advanced recommendation, offering chargeable personal network storage… the options are endless. Importantly, we have been there and can help construct an offering which makes most sense for your market. Our commercial model is weighted heavily towards an opex, or Pay-As-You-Grow model. As a result you can be confident that we are focused on the same thing as you – sustainable service success.

DO I NEED TO HIRE ANYONE?

We handle the “heavy lifting” of the service from both a technology and operations perspective meaning you can concentrate on servicing your consumers. As a result there is no need to hire people to launch the service.

WHAT ELSE DO I NEED?

Beyond the content... not much. We have a set of open APIs which have been designed to simplify integration into existing systems. After a little training on the functionality of the solution you are ready to go.

I ALREADY HAVE A VIDEO SERVICE – CAN I RE-USE ANYTHING?

Absolutely. We understand the importance of “sweating down assets”. Our modular approach is ideally suited to complementing and even enhancing an existing video environment. So whether it is a full Next Generation TV service, a TV Everywhere overlay, or specific functionality such as nDVR – we have you covered.
